Season’s Greetings and wishing all our members and friends of Tilligerry Tennis Club health and happiness in 2023.

Recently we held our AGM and felt very proud to report all that the Club had achieved throughout the year.

Some of these achievements included the following:

  • Future Leaders Program – Young Volunteer Award – Our junior member Kate Vine was nominated by the Club and she advanced to the finals which was a great credit to her.  She also completed a tennis coaching course.  Well done Kate!
  • Very successful Big Morning Tea was held raising funds for the Cancer Council.
  • Confirmation received from Council allowing us to go ahead with hiring out our Clubhouse and courts for meetings or events.
  • Social Pickleball has been introduced to the Club together with coaching by our Pickleball coach Aaron who is providing equipment and teaching those interested how to play the game.
  • A new Club Constitution has been created which was accepted at the recent AGM.
  • A new tennis net has been purchased and another repaired.
  • Very successful year of coaching our junior Hotshots players by James and Kelly (Foreshore Tennis) assisted by Kate.
  • Todd Woodbridge Cup – 16 children from Tilligerry Primary School participated and 10 progressed to the Regional play-offs in Maitland.  Such a great result!
  • A wonderful mural was painted by Koori Colours on the outside back wall of the Clubhouse.
  • Return and Earn set up for collection of cans and bottles raising funds towards a hitting wall for the Club.
  • Christmas raffle also raising funds for hitting wall at the Club.
  • Successful Pickleball function held.
  • Our coaches, James and Kelly, (Foreshore Tennis) hosted a very successful end of year inter-club Juniors Tennis Tournament at Tilligerry Tennis Club which saw 44 young entrants from Boat Harbour, Stockton, Soldiers Point and Tilligerry Tennis Clubs (aged between 7 to 14 years) compete and enjoy a fun day of tennis
