NT Professional Tournaments

We are ‘building up’ to the NT Professional Tournament Swing – hosting several women’s tournaments at Darwin International Tennis Centre, including:

• Darwin Open (Women’s $20,000 AUD) 23 September – 27 September
• Darwin International (Women’s $35,000 USD) 28 September – 5 October
• NT International (Women’s $35,000 USD) 6 October – 12 October

If you could please share with your Tennis networks, it would be appreciated. A great opportunity to get amongst the biggest tournaments on the NT Tennis calendar.

The Tennis NT ‘Pro Tour Swing’ will take place between Monday 29th of September – Sunday 12th of October. For anyone looking for opportunities to be involved in any capacity, please email tennisnt@tennis.com.au

Tennis NT AGM & Awards Night

As we know, the date to save for Tennis NT’s annual AGM and Awards Night is Saturday 18th October 2025. The Notice of AGM is to be released, and awards night nominations are OPEN, and will close strictly on Tuesday 23rd of September at 5pm. Please see below for awards as nominated by the Tennis NT Community, and by Tennis NT Clubs. Please spread the word to your communities and get nominating, people love the feeling of being of being recognised and appreciated 😊

How are you recording Ochre Cards?

We are all responsible for ensuring our sport is safe and welcoming. It is critical that you are keeping an active record of your working with children’s check. If you are currently keeping a record of your ochre cards, please let Ben know. If you aren’t sure how to keep a record of your ochre cards, please also let Ben know.

Educational Signage

• Tennis Australia has provided us some excellent educational signage promoting good behaviour around the club, please see the attached files and contact Ben if you would like these printed for your club.

Clubspark

Clubspark training took place for all NT clubs on Thursday 31st of July, focusing on the new booking module available. Coaching

A trainee level coaching course ran across the first weekend of June.

If you missed out on this course, email us at tennisnt@tennis.com.au we will plan another one in due course.

In the meantime, if you are hungry to upskill you can also complete the ‘Participation Online Course’.

Click the link to enrol - https://bounce.tennis.com.au/course/view.php?id=612 - which is available publicly at https://www.tennis.com.au/coaches/coach-education/participation-coaching and follow the below steps:

1. Create a new Bounce account on the login page
2. Confirm your account via the confirmation email link
3. Complete the signup form and select "Participation Coach" option as learner type
4. Login and access the course

Equipment

Please see the attached equipment order form if you ever need equipment: Clubs and Coaches Equipment Order Form

Tennis Australia are continuing to add to this order form, and through feedback have added mini nets and net frames as individual items. Please let Ben know if you are having any issues accessing the form.

Affiliation

Look out for the re-affiliation process from Ben over the next month. The current affiliation year ends 30th Sept.
