Seven Tennis Alice Springs young up and coming athletes will be flying into Perth over the Christmas Holiday break to compete in two back to back grass courts National points event tournaments.

The Seven athletes accompanied Matt Roberts and Lee Caruana will be flying out of Alice Springs on the 16th of December and returning on the 21st of December, They will be competing on a surface (natural grass) none of them have ever played on before so it will be a massive eye opener and such a great learning experience for these young athletes.

The seven athletes who have been selected are: Lachlan Caruana, Connor Byrnes, Lachlan Byrnes, Michael Billman, Cormac Nolan, Sean Mourzhino and Ethan Bowhay.

They have shown great improvement over the year and a great desire to achieve more in their tennis career.

The two Tournaments are National points events so giving our athletes a great chance to improve their Australian Ranking. One event will be a fast four format while the other event will be a traditional best of two sets.

Tennis Alice Springs tries to take teams away to represent the Alice, it really helps the athletes develop by playing different players and playing in different environment but most importantly making new friends and enjoy themselves.
