Talgarno Tennis Courts are again open for business following the conclusion of the majority of the construction in late July.  Talgarno Tennis Club and Talgarno Recreation Reserve, with Towong Council were awarded a grant back in 2020 for the upgrade of the tennis courts in the aftermath of the 2019/20 bushfires and the commencement of the pandemic. 

Fast forward three years and we now have four 'blue' courts that are ready for play this forthcoming summer and for social tennis and coaching in the coming weeks. To celebrate the fact we now have courts to play on again, the Talgarno Tennis Club is holding a Come and Try Open Day on 27 August from 12pm. This will be an opportunity for everyone to have a hit on the new courts, for the juniors to get a few tips off our experienced players, and to take part in a few novelty events. A free BBQ will be provided and there will be some prizes as giveaways for participation in some of the activities. 

Furthermore, the day is an opportunity to sign up as a member of the club, sign up children for junior coaching, and adults to sign up for a free 8 week coaching program, starting 4 September and hopefully enjoy some sunshine and each other's company again at the facility.
