Tennis Victoria League Championships

The Tennis Victoria League Championships are coming up on 12/13 April, with the registration deadline of 9 am 31 March. This is the opportunity for any open-age team that has won an association premiership between 1 April 2024 and 30 March 2025 to advance to the state championship event to play against other premiership teams from across Victoria.

This year we have opened two separate competitions – an open-gender competition and a women’s-only competition.

Tennis Victoria has sent direct invites to teams winning premierships between 1 April and 31 December 2024 from associations that use the League Manager software program, but it will be important for teams to get the information more than once to increase awareness and participation.

All information, including the registration link, can be found on the League Championships webpage.

A note of thanks to Bec Sicilia

After more than 13 years, Bec  has stood down from the committee. She has served in various roles including Treasurer and Vice President. Bec's contributions have been significant, especially during the COVID period. We thank her for her dedication.

BREAKING NEWS

Country Week 2025.

As Country Week 2025 draws to a close, we want to shine a spotlight on the incredible achievements of our very own M&MS team as winners who represented St Monica's with pride. This year’s event, hosted brilliantly by Swan Hill Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, was a fantastic celebration of tennis, camaraderie, and unforgettable moments.

Our Section 12 champions – Julie Carland, Bern Curtis, Jen Gleeson, Liz Hede and Leonie Saundry – showcased exceptional skill, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament. Their success is a testament to the hard work and pre-training to survive the extreme temperatures.   The team stood tall among competitors who travelled from across Victoria and beyond, including places as far afield as Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour, Camden, Bathurst, Narromine, Merimbula, Devonport, Albury, and even Brisbane.

Let’s take a moment to celebrate their triumph and the spirit of M&MS that they carried with them. Here’s to more victories and memorable moments on and off the court!
