Facilities upgrades

Lighting upgrade

Work on the lighting upgrade is progressing. Council is expected to make a decision on the successful contractor shortly.

Accessible bathroom

Above: STC committee member Pam Clarke and Will Dale, who has cerebral palsy, celebrate the addition of the new accessible bathroom at Springwood Tennis Centre.

The accessible bathroom contains a lot more space and can be accessed directly from the left hand side of the clubhouse, making life easier for people with disabilities. It also has a baby-change table. The new facility was jointly funded by the NSW Government, BMCC and Springwood Tennis Club.

Strategy meeting

We are also planning a strategy meeting on the evening of Thursday 7 September. All members are welcome. Bring some snacks and drinks and join a discussion of future directions for your club.

Anyone for cardio-tennis?

Cardio-tennis is a great way to get fit, have fun, socialise and hit some tennis balls. Contact Andrew McLeod (0416 083 472) if you are interested. See here for more information.

Ball machine!

The club's ball machine is available for hire and is a great way to groove your shots. The ball machine costs $15/hour for members, or $30/hour for non-members, plus court hire.

Reduce waste - recycle old tennis balls

If you have old tennis balls that you no longer need, you can leave them in the Game-On Recycling box in the clubhouse.

Thanks to our sponsors

Finally, please support our sponsors. Their generous financial contributions help to keep our club thriving.

Happy hitting!
