Thursday nights is dedicated to Women.

The SPTA have put together a schedule for a more relaxed Thursday tennis comp in term 3. 

With many regular players away, a casual format is a great way to stay fit and connected and allows new players a chance to try out Thursday competition without the commitment.
Included is a mix of playing opportunities and social events.

To participate you just need to turn up at the scheduled venue to play tennis. Play starts at 7.30pm
Cost is $8 per person to cover lights and balls.
We encourage you to bring along friends - those who haven’t played for a while or those who might be new to tennis - All are welcome

Term 4 and Beyond

Term 4 will return to being played as a short season of 10 weeks (approx)

Play starts at 7.30pm with warmups from 7.15pm

Teams are made up of 4 women each playing 3 sets of doubles across the night against all players.

Supper is an optional extra that many teams enjoy the social side of womens tennis too.

We are always on the look out for new members and players to get involved.
