1924
Shepparton Lawn Tennis Club inaugurated.

"At a meeting of the Shepparton Lawn-tennis Club Mr D.C. Morrison was unanimously elected president, and Mr. H. Podger was appointed to the committee. No action was taken in regard to a letter from the Rushworth Tennis Club suggesting the creation of a tennis association." (The Argus, Friday 7 November 1924)

1928
First Goulburn Valley Open Championship held on hard courts at Deakin Reserve.
First Annual Easter Tournament held.

1933
Club purchased land at current site, corner of Welsford Street and Sobraon Street, and built 12 grass courts.

1935
"Annual Australia Day tournament of the Shepparton Lawn Tennis Club was begun on Saturday.
Men's Singles Handicap - Third Round - Farrell d Howden, 9-7; Starritt d Guilfoyle, 9-3; Cussen d Flatman, 9-4; Riordan d Dainton, 9-3. Semi-finals - Farrell d Starritt, 9-5; Riordan d Cussen, 9-7.
Teams Match - Final - Shepparton No. 1 (R. Flatman, M. Conway, Mrs Powell, Miss A Jameson) drew with North-west Mooroopna, 2-18. (The Argus, Monday 28 January 1935)

First hard courts

1960 and 1961
Hosted the Victorian Country Inter-regional Championships.

1965
Pancho Gonzales, Rod Laver, Frank Sedgman, Ken Rosewall and Lew Hoad started a series of night matches around country Victoria which included playing at Shepparton Lawn Tennis Club.

1970s
Expansion of facilities and realignment of levee bank.
Twilight competition started.

1973
Ducat's Milk Goulburn Valley Junior Championships tournament started.

1982
New clubhouse built.

1985
Became an incorporated association as The Shepparton Lawn Tennis Association Inc. in September.

1992
Hosted the Victorian Country Inter-regional Championships.

1994
Hard courts refurbished to Synpave.

2000
Jones/Starritt Terrace built.

2005
Clubhouse kitchen and ancillaries refurbished.

2009
Co-hosted Junior Davis Cup and Junior Fed Cup Asia/Oceania Qualifying Tie with Tatura (April).

Co-hosted VCTA Country Week with Mooroopna (February).
90th Shepparton Easter Tournament - 8-page feature published in Shepparton News; 2014 Newcombe Medal, Australian Tennis Awards finalist - Most Outstanding Australian Ranking Tournament; 2014 Victorian Tennis Awards winner - Most Outstanding Tournament.
Ian Grose awarded Life Membership.
