The Reid Tennis Club AGM was held on Sunday 17 November 2024. Peter Willis and Neil Lynch were awarded life membership, seen above with Club President Sue Willis.

In her report to the AGM, Club President Sue Willis outlined the benefits both to players and the general community from tennis and the Reid Tennis Club. She thanked the numerous volunteers that made the year a resounding success for the Reid Club.

Over the year, the Club updated the pergola and replaced the roof, installed a new storage box for the clubhouse, replaced and repaired timber work on the clubhouse, and renovated the garden. The Club had a number of successful social events, and the regular Sunday afternoon social tennis continued to thrive.

Membership on 30 June 2024 was 311, with a strong retention rate of members renewing in July. We had 15 members over 80 years of age, while one third of members were under 35. The finances continue to be very strong, ensuring the club can continue to maintain and improve its courts, clubhouse, and surrounds in coming years.
