Congratulations to club member Graham Smith who won the award for Most Outstanding 30+ Tennis Senior at the ACT Tennis Awards on 17 September. The nominees in this category are judged on their continued involvement over a prolonged period, including their involvement as an administrator and as a player.

Graham has been involved for over 30 years in Seniors Tennis. Over this time he has represented the ACT at the Australian Teams Carnival 27 times. He has also been a regular competitor in the various Seniors teams events in NSW and SA.

Graham also contributed greatly to the sport as an administrator to Seniors Tennis in various roles for over 30 years, including current president since 2016.

Graham joins last year's winners from Reid, Terry Walker and Sue Willis as winners of a Tennis ACT award.
