CHANGES AT OTC – WHAT’S NEW

CLUB WEBSITE

• Our new website is play.tennis.com.au/oconnortennisclub.
  The website provides information about the Club, as well as links to enable the purchase of Club memberships and court bookings.

ONLINE BOOKING SYSTEM

• ALL PLAYERS (club members, casual hirers and coaches) are now REQUIRED TO BOOK a court online prior to using the courts.
• For details of how to make a booking visit the website at: play.tennis.com.au/oconnortennisclub
  Note that the costs to members of using a court for recreational play have not changed. However, there are changes to the court access arrangements for those members without access keys. You will be advised of the new arrangements by email when you make a booking.

CLUB MEMBERSHIP

• 2019/20 memberships are valid until 30 September 2020 due to an extension granted given the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on tennis clubs in the ACT.
• Current members will receive an email reminder when their membership is due for renewal.
  Please wait until you receive the email reminder and use the link in the email to access member rates for renewal of an existing membership.
• Players wishing to become members of the Club should visit play.tennis.com.au/oconnortennisclub and select the ‘Membership’ option from the menu bar at the top of the page.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:

• To make a booking or to purchase or renew a membership you will need to be registered with the Club on the new digital platform, called ClubSpark.
• Adult members and the adult contacts for junior members should have received an email with details on how to register with the O’Connor Tennis Club.
• PLEASE USE the link in the email to register to ensure that your registration is linked to your membership, thus providing access to the discounted members’ court fees.

REMINDER -  EFFECTS of COVID-19

The courts are open for coaching, competition and recreational play, subject to players abiding by the guidelines published by Tennis ACT, particularly those relating to restrictions on numbers of players, social distancing and sanitising practices. The clubhouse facility remains closed at this time.
