The 2024 Victorian Jewish Tennis Championships started on August 31 in windy conditions with the singles finals held in mid-September. The men's doubles competition was a round robin event with two groups of six pairs each - the final was played under lights. A great level of tennis and sportsmanship was displayed throughout. The tournament was open to all Victorian Jewish tennis players and was proudly hosted at Maccabi Tennis Club. For the first time and in a change to the tournament structure, all singles players were placed into one draw with first-round losers being streamed into the Consolation Singles draw.
James Oklander defended his Open Singles title by defeating Jess Flicker in the final, 6-2 6-2.
Gilad Nagar won the Consolation Singles against Joel Rabinov, 6-1 6-3.
Brothers Jess and Damon Flicker prevailed in the final against Jonny Henquin and Jordan Jaffe, 6-1 6-2. The result was a reversal of fortunes for Damon, who was runner-up in last year's men's doubles final alongside cousin Ryan Sharp against the father-son combination of Jonny and Daniel Henquin.
