Maccabi wins Bayside Competition

Maccabi secured an exhilarating victory against Mentone in the finals of Bayside Tuesday Night Doubles, wrapping up an extraordinary season with triumph and joy. The team’s unwavering spirit, combined with sheer skill and determination, carried them to the pinnacle of success, marking this season as one for the history books.

The Section 2 team enjoyed top of the ladder spot throughout the season, with a team roster of 12 players contributing to success, including Jonny Henquin, Geoff Rosenberger, Ryan Behr, Steve Bendel, Adam Needleman, Jan Tenenberg, Steve Kleytman, Jonathan Lubetzky, Jordan Jaffe, Marcus Frajman, Lachie Zuker & Segev Ehrenreich.

 

With so many high quality players qualifying for finals - 9 in total - our captain Adam Needleman was saddled with the tough decision selecting 4 players to best position Maccabi for victory.

Not only did Maccabi win Section 2 competition, our team was presented with the Vince Vaughan Memorial Shield for the team with the highest win percentage across all 4 sections.
