"Three generations of Landsborough Tennis Club magic"

Landsborough Tennis Club is very proud to have three generations of the Schouteten family as members.

The patriarch Andy Schouteten has been playing for much of his 82 years and still has a most fierce forehand and sublime backhand up his sleeve.

John, Andy's son is definitely no slouch either. An extremely competent player in his own right and is an extremely proud Dad of two wonderfully talented up and coming tennis players on the Sunshine Coast, Tom and Ben.

Ben Schouteten one of the young guns from Sunshine Grammar is off to Rockhampton to compete for the School State Championships.

He recently took out the 2022 Elite tennis International Open Series and has just received his coaching accreditation from Tennis Queensland under Clint Fyfe head coach at Sunshine Grammar.

The Schouteten family will be at the Landsborough Tennis Club Family Fun Day on Sunday the 24th of July from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a complimentary clinic for both juniors and seniors with a demonstration featuring some of the Sunshine Coast most promising rising stars.

A mini doubles tournament with prizes offered to both junior and senior players and a sausage sizzle provided.

Proudly supported by Tennis Queensland, Maleny Credit Union, The Landsborough Hotel and IGA Landsborough.
