Congratulations to Craig Muir who was awarded Life Membership at the AGM on August 14th 2022 for his many years of work on maintaining the courts and the clubhouse.  His mother Jeanette joined in 1988,  followed by Craig in 1991 then his father Graham, who already has Life Membership for the same reasons, joined in 1994.

Craig was very active in regular working bees at the start then graduated to playing competition on Saturdays. He was on a sub committee to select teams and later did it on his own. He started the Wednesday night competition and ran this until recently.

He was also involved in our yearly Trash & Treasure market for fund raising and worked with Graham on building the bar and painting the club house as well as helping Graham with the courts.

Craig worked with Graham on the clubhouse extension and built the cabinets and benches for the office as well as many other fixtures in the clubhouse as well as the deck outside. He also managed the installation of the alarm system. 

All this was prior to taking over as Maintenance Co-ordinator from Graham.
