Membership Terms & Club Code of Conduct

Inverloch Tennis Club have implimented Membership Terms and a Club Code of Conduct to ensure our club remains safe, respectful, and inclusive. All members are required to accept these documents as a condition of membership.

 

Incident Reporting Procedure

Breaches in the Inverloch Tennis Club Code of Conduct will be taken seriously. If an incident occurs, please follow the below incident reporting procedure to escalate the issue.

 

Child Safety 

Inverloch Tennis Club is committed to providing a safe environment for all children within our tennis club with zero tolerance for child abuse or harm.

Member Protection

Inverloch Tennis Club is committed to protecting the safety and wellbeing of all members, ensuring all players feel safe, respected, and comfortable at our club. If an incident occurs that jeopordises any of the prior, please follow the incident reporting procedure below.

Member Protection Information Officer

Samara Hodgson is our club Member Protection Information Officer. If you have any member protection concerns, please report them to Samara at invytennis@gmail.com. 

 

Player Behaviour 

Inverloch Tennis Club is committed to upholding a culture of respect, where all players each other with fairness and integrity. We do not tolerate poor behaviour, including abuse, intimidation, or unsporting conduct, on or off the court.

 

Spectator Behaviour 

Inverloch Tennis Club is committed to providing a safe environment for participation. Aggressive, threatening or other inappropriate behaviour by members, their families, their friends, and other sporting personnel while attending a game or event will not be tolerated.

 

Privacy Policy

Inverloch Tennis Club ensures that all players are aware of privacy commitments in accordance with the Tennis Australia Privacy Policies.

 

Sunsmart Policy

Inverloch Tennis Club is committed to supporting effective UV protection strategies to minimise risk and require all club players to comply with this policy.

 

Alcohol Policy

The Inverloch Tennis Club holds a current Victorian liquor licence subject to the provisions of the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998 and any conditions specified in the licence. Our club supports the responsible consumption of alcohol and takes seriously any inappropriate behaviour that results from excessive drinking.
