Tennis West has just announced the dates and formats for the 2023 Winter Leagues. There's a variety of playing options for those who are interested, and a wide range of divisions to suit all levels.

2023 Winter League Key Dates
- Nominations Open on Friday 3rd March 2023
- Nominations close on Friday 31st March 2023
- Grading & Fixture process - Monday 3rd April - Thursday 13th April
- Fixtures released - Thursday 20th April 2023
- Rounds begin Saturday 6th May 2023

2023 Winter League Information
- Season commences Saturday 6th May 2023 allowing an extra week for teams to organise rosters
- Saturday & Sunday Adult Leagues only playing on last weekend of July School Holidays
- Sunday Junior Leagues not playing during July School Holidays
- Monday to Friday Leagues not playing during July School Holidays
- Saturday & Sunday Leagues will be using 4 player teams
- Sunday Junior Leagues - no time limits - Start 9.00am and Finish, no later than 12.30pm
- 3 Senior Only events to replace Spring Slam Doubles Leagues (details to follow)
Juniors playing in Adult Leagues
- Clubs must ensure that they have duty of care for their juniors nominated in adult teams.
- Clubs must provide screened and trained supervisors for all matches
- Under 17 years must always have a parent or guardian with them who are not a member of the team
- Under 17 years old must play 5 (or more) matches in a Junior League during the same season
- Must be at least 15 years old (maximum of 2 per team) - Saturday Open/Sunday Open Leagues
- Must be at least 16 years old (maximum of 2 per team) - Monday to Friday Night Open Leagues
- Must be at least 18 years old - Monday to Friday Open Leagues
Junior Exemptions
- Juniors wishing to be exempt from the above rules/conditions must have their parent/guardian complete and submit an exemption form on their behalf (due Friday 17th March)
- Only the top Juniors in their age groups will be considered for exemptions by the Competition Committee and no appeals will be contemplated
