Congratulations to the Floreat Park teams who were victorious in the Tennis West Summer Leagues’ season that has just finished. Two FPTC teams managed to win their divisions this year.

The Women’s Monday Fast Four Division 3 team of Anne Hales (Captain), Winda Prastiwi, Rachael Yeo, Penny Chan and Yvonne Buller were top of their ladder in the regular season, with 11 wins from 14 matches. They faced Peppermint Grove in a very close final – which had to be played over two consecutive Monday nights due to running out of time on the first night. Eventually, in a nail-biting finish, Anne’s team emerged on top by one game.

Meanwhile, the Boys 18 and Under Division 4 Sunday team of Sho Mallen, Che Jones, Jaxon Williams, Oliver Zhang and Simon Pocock finished top of the regular season ladder with 10 wins from 12 matches. They also won a tight final, this time against UWA, by three games.
