Victorian Community Tennis Awards

We are celebrating one of the highest honours in Victorian Community Tennis after being awarded the Most Outstanding Club or Centre for 2026 at Victorian Community Tennis Awards held at Kooyong tennis club.

This award acknowledges our commitment to being an inclusive club by making tennis accessible to every member of our community from juniors taking their first swing, to seniors who have loved the game for decades and all abilities players enjoying their time on court.

Over recent years our hardworking coaches from Prestige Tennis Academy led by head coach Mark Brodam and Lachlan Gotz alongwith a dedicated committee have contributed to the club having over 20 teams playing in 6 different associations. The club has grown immensely with tennis played 7 days a week with  advanced squads, cardio tennis, adult lessons, hot shots, all abilities tennis and competition on offer year round.

Some of the outstanding initiatives implemented by the club and recognised include a clear strategic plan, a thriving all All Abilities Program, implementation of the Sunflower Hidden Disability Program, Auslan training, a Gender Equity Action Plan ensuring equal opportunties for men and women across all areas of club life.

We also congratulate our Treasurer Ann Bailey on being a finalist for Volunteer of the Year at the awards. Ann has been a dedicated member for over 40 years and has served as Treasurer for over 20 years. She continues to play mid week ladies tennis embodying the spirit of a true club champion.
