2024 WINTER COMPETITION

The proposed teams for the 2024 Winter Season starts on 4th/5th May (14 weeks during Term 2 and Term 3) need to be submitted mid-February.  The requirements to be in a tennis competition team is to be a current financial member of a participating club and pay the applicable competition fee.

There are many options available to both Juniors and Seniors alike.

JUNIORS - beginners to advanced

• Waverley Assoc.
• Competition Fee = $40
• Saturday morning 8am - 11am (approx.)
• Sunday morning 8:15am - 11am (approx.)

SENIORS (Rubber = best of 3 sets)

• Waverley Assoc. - beginners to advanced
• Saturday afternoon 12:45pm - 5pm (approx.)
• Competition Fee = $40
  • Most of these players are 18+, but younger players are welcome too.
  • Singles/Doubles Rubbers
    • (2-4 players. 2 rubbers of singles and 1 rubber of doubles)
  • Doubles Only Rubbers
    • (4 players  - 4 rubbers of doubles - ie 2 doubles each player)

• Tennis Victoria Pennant for Men - medium to advanced
• Competition Fee = TBA
• Tennis Victoria Pennant will require you to travel all around Victoria for the matches.
  • Saturday afternoon 12:45pm - 5pm (approx.)
    • Tennis Victoria Pennant (1 doubles set to 8 games.  4 singles rubbers - best of 3 sets ie 1 singles rubber for each player)
  • Sunday afternoon 12:45pm - 5pm (approx.)
    • Tennis Victoria Pennant (1 doubles set to 8 games.  4 singles rubbers - best of 3 sets ie 1 singles rubber for each player)
