What’s happening at Doveton Tennis Club
Lights on Courts 7, 8 and 9
The project to install LED lights on courts 7 to 9 is continuing.
Casey Council is funding new LED lighting including replacing the poles with higher 10m poles.
The existing poles and globes were removed from the courts before Christmas.
Contractors have poured the concrete bases and expect to install the new poles in February.
Book-a-Court System
Casey Council is also funding a book-a-court system for all nine courts. The same contractors for the lighting project will be making changes to gates and some fencing.
Because a key pad can’t be used on double gates a new gate with the book-a-court key pad will be installed next to the double gates at court 7.
Additionally there will be changes at the main gate to the clubhouse to allow a more convenient entrance to courts 5 & 6.
