About this program
Tennis lessons for kids! For kids who are looking to start their tennis journey – Tennis Hot Shots Coaching is the program for them! Coaching sessions are run by qualified Tennis Australia coaches around the country. Each lesson takes place in a nurturing environment which promotes participation and inclusion. They are run in small groups where kids are introduced to a sport they can play for life.

Notes from the coach
Continue developing stroke technique (forehand, backhand, volley, serve).
Rallying and tactical play become more prominent.
More game situations: scoring, placements, strategy basics.
Court size increases (¾ court) to match developing physical and tactical skills.
Coaching style: Still fun and game-based but more direction on hitting, tactics and movement.
