What a day!!  The Thriving Tennis Tour is being held around the state across May. The club was lucky enough to attend the session held at Melbourne Park.

The day focused on  COMMUNITY... how to make your club a great place to play, visit, get involved, and be sustainable. To THRIVE.

There were both on court and in room information sessions ranging from on court coaching, marketing & social, competition, safety and financials. There was something for everyone

The welcome to country from Uncle Dave (a local elder) was moving, along with inspirational words from Chris Anstey (Australian Boomer, NBA player and locally an NSJTA A Special winner), Damian Morris (TA Integrity Unit) discussing Child Safety, and discussions with Heath Davidson (#6 singles wheelchair player) and Maurice Gleeson OAM (Blind Tennis) regarding tennis for people with disabilty.
