| David Reiss steps down from the Presidency In late 2025, David Reiss decided to step down from the position of President of CRTC. David selflessly served as President of the Club for over 13 years, providing his steady and unwavering leadership, particularly during the difficult and uncertain times of the GFC and Covid . His contributions are too numerous to list - this is evidenced by the fact that he was awarded Life Membership in 2009, well before he became President. Many members would know David well from his countless years of service as the (unofficial) Juniors' convenor, where he guided young tennis players and their parents through their introduction to competition tennis. David was also always available to drop in to the courts from his nearby home, to let people in, turn on the lights or otherwise assist people in making use of our facility. David also performed numerous maintenance tasks around the club that often went unnoticed, doing so without complaint but with a ready smile. On behalf of all past and present members of Caulfield Rec, the committee would like to thank David for his enormous contribution to our Club, and wish him well in his post-Presidential life. Thank you, David. Michael Hickey, previously Vice-President, has taken on the role of Acting President.
