This is a monthly cash prize event run at Castlemaine TC
The tournament will be divided into groups of roughly 8 players based on UTR (Universal Tennis Rating).
Match Play will consist of best of 2 set elimination matches to six games with a 10 point super tiebreaker at 1 set all to determine the winner.
Should you be eliminated in your first match you will be offered a consolation match.
If you do not have a UTR, we will use your prior playing experience to place you in the appropriate group.
It is at the organisers absolute discretion to allow a player into either division.
The overall winner of each division will be awarded $100 with $50 for the runner up unless there are 4 players or less in either group, in which case, there will only be a first prize awarded. If there only 3 players then a round robin format will be used instead of knockout. In the event there are only 2 players in a division the match will be a single best of 5 set match with a $50 prize for first place only
First round opponents and times will be posted the night before the tournament. Earliest first round matches will start at 830am with some matches at a later start due to court availability and numbers
CASTLEMAINE TC RESERVES THE RIGHT REFUSE ENTRY TO PLAYERS WHO THEY HAVE DEEMED TO HAVE NOT PLAYED IN GOOD SPIRIT AT PREVIOUS EVENTS
