Burnt Bridge Tennis Club has recently invested in a battery powered lawn mower and whipper snipper and electric BBQ, all of which can be powered using our rooftop solar panels and the electrical grid.

This helps us with achieving our goals for financial and environmental sustainability at the club.

A big thank you to Glenda Nicholson and team for putting together the successful Australian Government Volunteers Grant and for the support of the Hon. Michael Sukkar MP (Federal, Deakin).

A one-pager 'How To Guide' will be available to provide easy-to-follow instructions on use of the new BBQ.

Volunteers are also sought to join our Lawn Mowing and Whipper Snipping Roster to help keep our grounds looking their best. We welcome you adding your name to the list. New users of the lawn mower and whipper snipper will be provided with a quick 'how to use' tutorial.
