We've had some fantastic uplift to facilities at BBTC recently.
Replacement of clubhouse doors
Thank you very much to Maroondah City Council for replacing the clubhouse doors and window panels in June 2023.
The new facade has brought an uplift to the feel of the building and ensures a water-tight clubhouse. The improved views of our showcourts from inside makes for watching great tennis being played on Courts 3 and 4, even better.
Success in Maroondah City Council's Community Grants Funding Program
Burnt Bridge Tennis Club has been awarded funding through Maroondah City Council's Community Grants Funding Program to purchase a new refrigerator-freezer.
This will be a terrific replacement for the current refigerator-freezer in the storeroom that has come to the end of its life.

Investing in our court surfaces
BBTC has been investing in our court surfaces to ensure they are at their best to aid great play.
Across June - August, Kris Newman and Brandon from Better Bounce Court Maintenance have done a fantastic job to improve all six en tout cas courts. This has included:
Court 4: Rebuilt a two metre square area of the court surface in the south eastern corner to remove a channel and raise the rebuilt area of the court surface and lines for better water runoff.
Courts 1-6 General Service: Kris performed a general service on all six courts in early August including resurfacing with 0.75 tonnes of en tout cas toppings, filling water runoff gullies, bagging and levelling courts, weed control, and minor net repair.
Funds raised at our recent BBTC-Bunnings Croydon BBQ fundraiser have been used to cover the costs of the Court 4 rebuild and general service of Courts 1-6. Thank you to everyone involved in volunteering their time in preparation and on the day of the fundraiser. We sold in excess of 700 sausages and raised $2,044.
Court Line Tape Replacement and Patching: Kris and Brandon have done a mavellous job replacing and repairing court line tape on five of the six courts requiring a repair.
Our courts are presenting and playing very nicely. I hope they bring you a lot of joy.
