Upcoming Dates to Remember!
- Monday Fast 4 Tennis: 1:00pm every Monday in Term 3, 9:00am in Term 4. Contact Bev Giraud on 0439 398 481.

New Gate Access System
We are excited to announce that the Bright Tennis Club has a new gate access system. From today, access to the courts will need to be booked online through the Bright Tennis Club website under the "Bookings" tab. The system will send a 9-digit access code via email or SMS, granting members access to the courts. Courts are free for members and available for hire to non-members during daylight hours. We recommend testing your access as we approach Spring.

Welcome to our new club coach, Garry Byrne! See page 2 for more details on Junior Coaching starting in Term 3. If you're looking for something extra to do during the school holidays, I recommend getting involved in the Junior Tennis Clinic to sharpen your skills for the upcoming season.

Coach's Corner
Introducing Our Club Coach: Garry Byrnes
Garry Byrnes brings a wealth of experience to Bright Tennis Club, having coached state, national, and world-ranked players. Garry's coaching career spans 12 years, including working with the McDonald's squad, coaching advanced kids across various clubs. He was also a #1 ranked junior and part of the Victoria Junior State Squad. His sons, Daniel and Nathan, have also achieved impressive rankings and represented Victoria before injuries impacted their careers.
Upcoming Programs
- Cardio Tennis for Adults: Focuses on fitness rather than technique. Starting 9:30am, 15th October.
- Junior Tennis Coaching: Term 3 coaching runs from Monday 26th August to Tuesday 17th September. Term 4 begins on 7th October.
- Adult Coaching: Group lessons for beginners and intermediate/advanced players. First lessons on 14th/15th October. Monday at 7:00pm, Tuesday at 5:30pm.
- School Holiday Tennis Clinic: Mon 23rd - Wed 25th September. Various session times available, or attend all day. Contact Garry to register!
Parent/Child Tennis Tournament
Join us for a fun Parent/Child Tennis Tournament on Sunday, 13th October from 10:00am - 3:00pm. Entry is $10, and there will be a BBQ lunch and prizes. Register by emailing gardeoak@yahoo.com.au or sign up at the clubhouse.
Re-stringing Services
Contact Garry Byrnes for all your re-stringing needs, priced between $25 and $35. Racquets need to be dropped off at the tennis courts on Monday nights and will be returned the following Monday.
