FACILITY UPGRADE:

By time of printing the new windows and doors to the clubhouse will have been completed.

This upgrade will make the clubhouse so much more presentable and welcoming. The new door facing courts 5 & 6 will have a ramp enabling disabled persons to access inside the clubhouse.

We have submitted a grant proposal to upgrade the internal facilities and we hope to be successful in the next round of funding.

Winter season had 8 teams competing in the juniors of which 4 made the preliminary finals and 3 made the Grand Final. Good luck to Section 1 Girls, Section 1 Boys and the Green ball section 2 teams. Well done to all players for a great season. Summer season begins with 16 sides in early October.

A special thanks to the team managers, parents and coaches who put so much time into the children.

THIS EDITIONS TENNIS TIP:

If you find yourself struggling with some tennis basics, take a look at these quick tips to improve your game. It’s important to remember that there is no perfect way to play a tennis stroke, but these tips offer some fundamentals to help you hone your skills.

No 24. Exaggerate the follow-through.

Sometimes it will come down to going back to the basics to succeed on the tennis court. That means exaggerating the follow-through to the point that everything‘s going exactly as it should. Do this when practicing more than anything, and it will help to build up muscle memory and get everything back on track.
