A Fantastic day for BHTC with 4 junior premierships.

The section 1 team of Curtis, Jack, Finn, Charlie and Lily all played at a very high standard. This match pitted the two best teams in the district against each other.

After the singles it was all tied up at 2 sets all. However, good wins in both doubles ensured a well deserved victory to Barwon Heads.

The final score was 4 sets 31 games to Geelong Lawn Black 2-22.

The section 8 boys team of Michael, Cooper, Jasper and Fynn put in a dominant performance against Waurn Ponds to run out well deserved winners 6 sets 36games to 0-15. This team stormed home in the finals series after finishing 3rd after the home and away season.

The Barwon Heads blue section 12 team of Flynn, Ben, Yanni and Harry had a great team win over Geelong Lawn 4-31 to 2-23.

Everybody in the team won at least one set to set up their final result.

Section 15 Green ball Barwon Heads team had a convincing result with a 4-30 to 2-17. Winning the first 3 sets 6-1, 6-0, 6-0 set up the great win. Well done Teal, Kenji, Albert, Archer and Bay.

Unfortunately our 2 girls sides in the Grand finals were not so fortunate. The section 3 girls team put up a gutsy performance to lose to the top team all season in Drysdale 2-23 to 4-34.

Well done Claudia, Alice, Makayla and Sarah on a great season.

Siena, Mikka, Lila and Ava in the section 5 girls lost in an extremely close match by only 2 games, 3-23 to 3-25 against Inverleigh. This was a topsy turvy match that went right done to the wire.
