JUNIOR WINTER COMPETITION SUCCESS

Winter season came to a successful conclusion wit our Section 4 boys winning the Grand Final over Lara 4 sets 26 games to 2-22.

Our Section 2 boys also had a great season after finishing on top of the ladder after the home and away season they were very unlucky to lose by only 1 game in the grand final. Scores were  Clifton Springs 3 sets 27 games to Barwon Heads 3 sets 26games. Well done to

The Summer season starts on the first weekend in October. This year we have 17 junior teams.

MIDWEEK LADIES

The midweek women’s competition is nearing completion with only 4 rounds left to play. It

has been a terrific and fun season and all the teams are thoroughly enjoying their Tuesday

tennis. Our new Section 1 team are hoping to hold on to their 6th place on the ladder to

secure their spot in section 1 for the summer season. Section 6 are soldiering on in 7 th place Section 4 are currently in 4th place and on track to make finals. Best of luck to all the

teams for the remainder of the season!

We will also be holding a round robin day soon for ladies involved or interested in getting

involved in Tuesday tennis. Details will be posted on the BHTC facebook. 

SENIOR TENNIS

This season we will have 3 sides. In theOpen, which is singles and doubles format, we will have Sections 1 and Section 2.

In the doubles only format we will have Section 1.

COURT RESURFACING AND CLUBHOUSE UPGRADE

The resurfacing of the courts 5 and 6 has been approved. We now are waiting for the contractor to be able to fit the resurfacing into their schedule. The new lights and the clubhouse renovations will follow after that.
