Who are you?

My name is Lucy Beatie, I’m 16 years old and I’m in year 10 at Kilbreda.

When did you start tennis?

I started taking classes in 2020.

What or who motivated you to start playing?

When I was younger, I used to play tennis with my mum and my brother and then I decided to take classes.

What do you do at Aspendale Tennis Club and how often do you play?

I play competitions on Sunday, I train on Thursday and I sometimes do cardio tennis on Monday.

What are your other hobbies?

I also play footy for edi-asp.

What are your three best qualities as a tennis player?

My best qualities are integrity, communication and I’m a very good team player.

What is your next objective?

My next objective is to continue playing my sports hopefully until the end of year 12.
