My name is Grant Plozza.

What are you doing at Aspendale Tennis Club?

I have been the president of the Tennis Club for now nine years. I joined the Club in 1986 and played competitions on Saturday afternoon.

What are your other hobbies?

My other hobbies are squash in the early days and footy. I regularly go to the gym to keep fit.

Tell me your best tennis story.

I remember in only my second year of tennis, I was playing in a pennant team and wondering what I was doing. I was still playing a lot of squash shots on the tennis court and was out of my depth but just persevered. It was scary but fun.

Who’s your favorite tennis player and why?

My favorite tennis player is Roger Federer because of his magnificent all round game.
