TSNT has been advocating for some courts under shade for players in Darwin for some time. There has been support in principle from the government. The plan had been for shade over some courts at Gardens TC. However progress has been slow.

In the meantime, TSNT has approached Tennis NT to seek support for TSNT players to access the shade courts at Marrara at a reasonable cost. The good news is approval has been obtained. The cost will be $5 a section. This is for times when there are no tournaments.

This commenced Thursday, 14th March at 5:30pm There will be no lights.

We plan to start with a small group and hopefully other members will want to organise a group to play at other times. Playing under shade is much more enjoyable in Darwin!
