Peter Bilton passed away in February this year after a long battle with liver failure. Peter was in the Intensive Care Unit at the PA Hospital awaiting an urgent liver transplant when his condition worsened.  He was a much loved and respected member of the Tennis community and will be missed.

Peter played in the Australian team in the 2017, 2018, 2019 & 2022 World’s Masters Teams Event and received an award for Tennis Seniors Queensland Most Outstanding 35+ Senior in 2017.

A video was produced by his friend Vanessa Grant using photos provided to her by his tennis friends and family. A tribute to this very popular player was made by the ITF Vice President at the recent 60-70 World Championships in Florida.
