Hall of Famer Kerry Ballard elevated to Elite Level

Tennis Seniors Australia is pleased to confirm the elevation of our great player, Kerry Ballard to the elite level in our Hall of Fame. Kerry was presented with the award at the recent Australian Teams Carnival dinner in Adelaide. Kerry joins Andrew Rae and Bob McCarthy in the Elite Status category in the Australian Seniors Tennis Hall of Fame.
Kerry’s wins at the Australian Championships in Hobart 2024 (singles and doubles) have given her the additional points needed to move from the status of inductee to elite.
She is currently #2 in the world for singles in the Women’s 75+ age group and #5 for doubles.
She is a former World #1 in her age group for singles, doubles and mixed doubles.
In total, she has won 44 ITF Masters singles titles and 35 doubles titles.
She won the World Championships in singles in 2009 and 2019.
She also won the World Championships in doubles in 2023 (with Sally van Rensburg), 2019 and 2014 (with Shirley Fox), 2017 (with Lyn Walter) and each year between 2005 and 2009 with Elizabeth Allen.
She has also won World Team Championships for Australia.
