Scoresby Tennis Centre Inc - Court Hire:

General Responsibilities

All individuals booking courts at the Scoresby Tennis Centre Inc (STC) must ensure compliance with the terms and conditions outlined in this document. Both the person making the booking, and any of their guests, agree to adhere to all child safety regulations set forth by Tennis Australia and Knox City Council. This includes refraining from aggressive or inappropriate comments or instructions or bullying actions, especially towards anyone being coached or playing as part of the booking.

Terms and Conditions

• All participants and their guests are required to comply with these terms and conditions when booking or using the facilities at Scoresby Tennis Centre.
• Court hire is available to both members of STC and the public through the club’s booking system. For all bookings made by a member of STC the member must always be onsite at the centre for the duration of the booking.
• The Club reserves the right to modify court hire costs, including charges for access to court lighting, as it sees fit.
• The Club may refuse any booking at its discretion.
• Anyone booking or using the courts must maintain the condition of the court and avoid any actions that could damage or alter the court surface.
• Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited on all Club premises, including courts and surrounding areas.
• No dogs or animals are allowed on the premises unless properly restrained. Under no circumstances are animals permitted on court surfaces or in the pavilion.
• Professional coaching is only permitted if approved by the Club prior to the booking. The Club reserves the right to cancel bookings believed to be used for commercial coaching without approval.
• Players must use only the court(s) they have booked and not exceed the number of players or facilities allocated in their booking.
• All players are expected to treat the courts and surrounding areas with respect, remove all rubbish, and leave the facilities in a clean and professional state.
• Appropriate and respectful attire must be always worn while playing tennis.
• Players must adhere to their allocated booking times and only those named in the booking may use the courts during that period.
• Please vacate the court facility promptly at the end of your booking.

Booking Issues and Refunds

Court booking cancellations.

If you make an online booking and you are unable to attend, or the weather becomes inclement simply go online and cancel the booking you have made before the commencement booking time. The Club Spark system with then provide an automatic refund for the payment you have made.

Alternatively, please email admin@scoresbytennus.com to cancel your court booking. The refund by this method will take longer as the refund amount must be manually adjusted. You can cancel an online booking up to 3 weeks prior your booking time but once the booking time has commenced a refund is then no longer available.

Penalties

• The Club reserves the right to issue further invoices if the terms are breached, such as overstaying booked times, using more courts or having more participants than stated in the booking.
• CCTV is used to monitor court usage and booking compliance. The Club may use footage to issue warnings, restrict future bookings, or issue invoices for breaches of policy.
• The Club reserves the right to cancel or suspend court bookings privileges if it believes that the courts are not being used for the correct purposes or that concerning activities continue after such concerning action has been identified and so advised to the persons responsible.
