Date of purchase membership
As from 1 July 2022, all new and renewing members of Melba Tennis Club will receive a full year of membership commencing from the date of joining; pro-rata fees no longer apply.
Additionally new and renewing members can now opt to pay by monthly installments. (credit card only) The first installment will be on the date of purchase with subsequent payments occuring on the 14th of the month.
Benefits of Membership
- Members do not pay court hire fees (excluding light hire at night).
- Members are entitled to use the courts, clubhouse and facilities at any time.
- Enables you to play League competitions for the club.
Membership Fees for 2025-2026. These fees will take effect from 1 July 2025.
- Adults: $200.00
- Families: $400.00
- Students $110.00
- Juniors: $90.00

Membership Types
Adult
An adult membership consists of one person over the age of 18 who is not a full time student.
Family
A family membership may consist of one or two parents plus any number of children of those parents who satisfy the junior member definition or the student member definition.
Student
A student membership is available to a person who is a full-time student and is under 25 years of age at Date of Purchase. Student ID needs to be verified by the membership secretary before membership can be approved.
Junior
A junior membership is available to a person who is under 19 years of age at Date of Purchase.
Please note: Membership fee refunds are not normally payable if a member (or members) leaves the club before their membership expires.

Adult Coaching Participant Discounted Membership

2 months additional free membership applied when a new participant signs up to an On the Line Coaching program and purchases an Adult Membership
Eligibility: Must be a new enrolment in an On the Line Coaching Program (eg. individual, group, cardio) to be eligible for the additional 2 months membership

Eligibility: Must be a current full-time student under the age of 25 with a current student ID card. Student ID needs to be provided to the Membership Secretary for validation before membership is approved. The membership may be revoked if this is not provided.
