Dear League Players,
Thank you for entering in the first ever season of Canberra Tennis League.
On March 14 all Tennis operated events, tournaments and competitions were postponed until further notice. Unfortunately due to having now passed the halfway mark of the Autumn Canberra Tennis League Season with either one or no rounds having been played, and at this stage no confirmed date to be able to return to competition within the near future, we have made the decision to cancel the remainder of the Autumn 2020 Canberra Tennis League.
Tennis ACT and Tennis Australia are working to ensure that competition tennis is ready to come back as soon as Government restrictions allow. We are constantly monitoring the situation and revising our Community Tennis Guidelines in line with both federal and territory government restrictions. Our team will be in touch when entries open for the next season of Canberra Tennis League. Updates will also be posted on the Tennis ACT website at https://www.tennis.com.au/act/competitions/canberra-tennis-league

ONLINE COMMUNITY OFFICIATING
Love tennis and looking for something to do during the lockdown? Why not become a Tennis Community Official? Tennis Australia Officiating is proud to launch their new online learning program.
Being a Community Official is a great way to get involved in tennis at the grassroots level. They volunteer their time to assist tournaments and competitions by monitoring a number of courts during play, which helps to create a smooth running event. They also play a role in assisting and educating players, parents and coaches. As you progress through the Community Officiating pathway further opportunities to engage in paid officiating roles become available.
