LES TAPP OAM INTER-ASSOCIATION INFORMATION 2026

Key Information: 

Date: Saturday 07 – Monday 9 March 2026  

Venue: Woodville Orion Tennis Club  

Address: 31 Oval Ave, Woodville South (Woodville Orion Tennis Club).  

Age Groups: Orange Ball (U8’s Mixed), U10’s, U12’s, U14’s, Open – all boys and girls  

Secondary Venue: West Beach Tennis Club  

Address: 3 Military Rd, Adelaide South Australia 5024  


Nomination details to be submitted to TSA by the EDTA - player nominations to be sent to Barb Le Cornu by Thursday February 12 (11.59 pm)


Eligibility  

  • Orange Ball (U8’s Mixed), U10’s, U12’s & U14’s must be the stipulated age at 9 March 2026  and to be eligible to be included in the team and must have played four (4) Association  interclub junior or senior matches prior to the commencement of the event.  
  • Open age players must be 17 and under as of round 1 of junior competitions and must have  played four (4) Association interclub junior or senior matches prior to the commencement of  the event.  
  • JSL players are eligible for the event.  
  • All nominated players must have a Competitive Player Profile (CPP) to be eligible. Please  contact Tennis SA if you require assistance with any of your players.  
  • Teams shall consist of 4-6 players ranked in order of merit.  
  • Each team will play each other at least once in their age group.  


Sets to be played are:- 2 doubles and 4 singles  

U8 Orange Ball: Singles and doubles  

First to 4 games  

Using Orange dot ball  

10 & Under: singles and doubles  

straight 6 game set  

using a green dot ball  

All other age groups: singles and doubles  

6 game set with tie-break at 5 games all using a yellow ball. All matches are played with no-ad

 scoring (receiver’s choice).  

Winning team to be determined by team wins, points, sets and games.  


RULES OF PLAY  

1. Players must be the stipulated age at 9 March 2026 and to be eligible to be included in the team  must have played four (4) Association interclub junior or senior matches prior to the commencement  of the event.  

2. Each team must be accompanied by an adult supervisor (Team Manager) who should be prepared  to assist with organising the team.  

3. Presentation of medallions to the winning and Runner up teams will be presented at the conclusion  of each session on Monday 9 March at Woodville Orion TC. All winners and Runners up are  expected to attend.  

4. Days of play are Saturday 7 March concluding Monday 9 March 2026. Times of play for each day  are as per programme and all teams should arrive at least 15 minutes early.  

5. All matches played in accordance with the Rules of Tennis and the Tennis Australia Code of  Conduct. Any breaches must be reported to the Event Co-ordinator with scores and details provided in writing.  
 

MATCH CONDITIONS  

1. Teams shall consist of 4-6 players ranked in order of merit.  

2. Sets to be played are:-  

2 doubles and 4 singles  

Orange Ball (U8 mixed): singles and doubles – First to 4 games  

Using a Orange dot ball – all matches to be played on hardcourt  

10 & Under: singles and doubles - straight 6 game set  

Using a green dot ball – all matches to be played on hardcourt 

All other age groups: singles and doubles - 6 game set with tie-break at 5 games all   

Using a yellow ball – matches on both hardcourt and grass.  

All matches are played with sudden death deuce (receiver’s choice).  

3. Doubles shall be played first.  

4. The number one single player must play in the first double. If the first singles player does not play  in the doubles, then the second singles player must play in the first double.  

5. A score sheet will be supplied and must be filled in before matches commence by both teams.  ** should duplicates be requested they must be supplied by the Association concerned **  

6. Balls will be supplied by Tennis SA.  

7. $64.00 per yellow ball team entry fee. Colour Ball teams will be $45 per team  (paid by EDTA)

8. Four premiership points will be awarded for a winning match and one point for each set won. Where  a draw occurs two points for each team will be awarded. If the number of points are equal then  winner of the series is to be decided on percentage, sets won over sets played.  

9. Reserve players: once the team has been named for the match no changes or substitutions  can be made under any circumstances.  

10. Should any matches be unfinished due to weather conditions, that round will be cancelled.
