KINGSTON TENNIS CLUB Orange Hot Shots Coach and Play is about developing more technical skills and enhancing fundamental and perceptual motor skills. We start to explore the court and look for ways to work out methods tactically. Orange ball can be conducted on a ¾ court and then taken onto a full court. This is important on two fronts. It allows the child to swing harder through the contact zone to produce racquet head speed and incorporate a quicker response to shots being hit, hence quicker judgement and movement to get to balls. • Players aged 9 – 10 years • Recommended racquet size: 23–25 inches.
