Nominations Open for Junior Summer Leagues

  • APPLICATIONS CLOSE ON THURSDAY 4 SEPTEMBER 2025 (The club must have your form by this date in order to gets teams nominated in time).
  • SUMMER LEAGUE FEE $70 per player (includes nomination fee and ball fees).
  • YOU MUST BE A CURRENT FINANCIAL MEMBER OF SOUTH MANDURHAH TENNIS CLUB TO PLAY.
  • SEASON RUNS FROM Sun 19 OCTOBER 2025 WITH FINALS 22 MARCH 2026 (CONFIRMED)
  • SCHOOL HOLIDAYS AND LONG WEEKENDS ARE AVOIDED IN FIXTURES.
  • PLAYING TIMES ARE 8:30am – 12:00pm TBC by Tennis West.
  • We will try to organise teams in preferred player groups; however, it cannot be guaranteed. The club will consult with parents where need be.
  • All players are required by Tennis West to have UTR number and have it linked to their Tennis Australia profile. Instructions for this are available if required.
  • Parents or guardians MUST to be present for matches and willing to assist with set up, close up, score keeping, umpiring if required and providing morning tea for home games.

  • By applying you agree to: Abide by the Tennis West player Behaviour Code and rules for non –umpired matches.
  • Abide by the captain and league supervisor’s decision.
  • Pay nomination fee by round 1 (16 October 2025). Account South Mandurah Tennis Club – BSB: 633 000 Acc: 172 839 680 – please use your surname and JnrLeague as reference.
  • Attend team practice where possible and participate as a member/representative of the SMTC.

 

 

RULES FOR PENNANT PLAYERS REPRESENTING SMTC

  1. All player pennant fees must be paid prior to the first match of Summer or Winter sessions.
  2. If selected, players must be prepared to commit to playing both Home and Away games.
  3. Players cannot play more than 3 consecutive home games without playing an away game.
  4. Players cannot play more than 3 consecutive away games without playing a home game.
  5. All pennants team will follow a ‘Team Roster’ format, showing dates of matches and scheduled players. Players agree to follow a ‘Team Roster’ format as a condition of selection.
  6. A team captain (or parent coordinator for juniors) is to be nominated and will be responsible for creating and monitoring team rosters (templates available) and printing/completing score sheets as well as communications with SMTC committee where required.
  7. Players will be responsible for any fines received in relation to their team unless SMTC committee see fit to waive.
  8. Players to be encouraged to wear a SMTC shirt.
